During a Mustang orientation flight, the passenger is encouraged to conduct the majority of the flying himself, from simple maneuvering to high-performance aerobatics.

The footage was taken from inside the cockpit of a Mustang nicknamed “Crazy Horse 2,”. It shows the famous instructor pilot (IP) Steve Larmore giving a briefing before the orientation flight aboard the aircraft conducted by ‘The Lieutenant’ of ‘The SKYMONKEYYYs’ – Division Flyyy.
A former USAF P-51D known as Crazy Horse 2 was transformed into a twin-stick TF-51 by Stallion 51 in 2000. (an aviation business that provides a wide range of aviation services from orientation flights onboard historic warbirds to aircraft management).
As seen in the video, during an orientation flight in one of Stallion 51’s warbirds, the passenger is encouraged to handle the majority of the flight on his own, from straightforward maneuvering to high-performance aerobatics.
Aside from that, the video amply illustrates the P-51 Mustang’s exceptional speed and maneuverability, which helped it rank among the top World War II fighters and allowed it to outmaneuver the majority of Luftwaffe and Japanese combat aircraft.
