The original 1943 image, which is shown here, illustrates that it took roughly 90 persons to launch one Grumman TBF-1 Avenger

The interesting photo in this post is a reproduction of a CVW-17 photograph taken on board the USS Nimitz and features a F/A-18C Hornet from VMFA-323. The original image (bottom) shows CVE-11 displaying a Grumman TBF-1 Avenger and was taken in 1943 while the USS Card was an aircraft carrier.
