Here’s a Tornado Buzzing the Tower Top GunnStyle.
Taken from the control tower at Poligono di Capo Frasca Military Installation in Oristano, on the Italian island of Sardinia the (weird) video in this post shows a Tornado fighter buzzing the Tower like Maverick’s F-14 Tomcat in Top Gun.
According to some comments that appeared on Facebook the Tornado belonged to the Luftwaffe (German Air Force).

As we have reported yesterday, Germany needs more than $9 billion to operate its Tornado fighter fleet by 2030.
5.64 billion Euros are required for operations while 1.62 billion Euros are needed to design replacements for obsolete parts and another 1.58 billion Euros to procure those parts.
In February German Defence Ministry has further shortlisted the Eurofighter and the F/A-18 Super Hornet as potential candidates to replace Luftwaffe Tornado fighter-bomber, knocking Lockheed Martin’s F-35 stealth fighter out of a tender worth billions of euros.
The winner will have to be certified to carry U.S. nuclear weapons, a process that could take years.
No timetable for a decision was given, but the process could take time since the U.S. government will have to certify both jets to carry nuclear weapons. Germany has 85 operational Tornado jets, but not all are equipped to carry nuclear weapons.
